G'day! This is Matias Urzua-Solar, aka Mat Solart, a Visual Artist /Designer based in Adelaide, Australia.

From an early age Mat have been interested in photography and painting and he knew he wanted to dedicate his life to artistic creation.
It took him quite a while to develop a personal and unique style in which he could amalgamate these two interests.

Today he feels that he have achieved it and is very happy to show and share his talent with the world.

Apart from working on Magical Recollections (a project created by himself) Mat makes original paintings based on different topics; always using photographs and the computer as his raw materials.

So far, he has developed two lines of interest that have to do with the creation of paintings using archive photographs and the other using photographs of portraits of characters from the world that he have captured himself with a camera in his travels around the world.
